Optimal Strategy
This desert track features quicksand pits and a large tornado. Avoid the quicksand as it slows you down significantly. The anti-gravity section with the Piranha Plants can provide spin boosts. There's a small off-road shortcut near the end of the lap that can be taken with a mushroom. On 200cc, the quicksand becomes a major hazard due to the increased speed.

Mushrooms are useful for the off-road shortcut. Green Shells can be bounced off walls effectively in the narrower sections.
