Chief Chilly is the final boss of Mission Mode, found after completing all Level 7 missions with at least a 1-star rank. You'll face him in an icy arena. Your objective is to push him off the edge using Mushrooms.
Phases & Strategy:
- Phase 1 (Pushing): Chief Chilly will slide around the icy arena, trying to push you off.
- Collecting Mushrooms: Item boxes around the arena will provide Mushrooms.
- Attacking Chief Chilly: When you have a Mushroom, use it to boost into Chief Chilly. This will push him backward.
- Repeat: Continue boosting into Chief Chilly, pushing him closer and closer to the edge of the arena. He will become more aggressive and try to push you off more frequently as he takes damage.
- Avoid Being Pushed Off: Stay away from the edges of the arena. If you get too close, Chief Chilly can easily knock you off.
- Icy Surface: The arena is icy, making steering and braking more difficult. Adjust your driving accordingly.
Weakness:
- Mushrooms: Only Mushrooms can push Chief Chilly.
Tips:
- Strategic Boosting: Don't just boost randomly. Aim your boosts to push Chief Chilly directly towards an edge.
- Defensive Driving: Prioritize staying on the arena. If you're about to be pushed off, use a Mushroom to boost away from Chief Chilly.
- Cornering: Try to corner Chief Chilly against an edge to make it easier to push him off.
