- Muddy Sections: The muddy areas will drastically reduce your speed. Avoid them at all costs. Stick to the paved and wooden paths.
- Ghosts: Ghosts will sometimes appear and try to steal your item. If a ghost is about to steal your item, use it immediately if it's beneficial, or try to avoid the ghost by driving away.
- Drifting: There are several tight turns, especially inside the mansion, where drifting is essential. Practice chaining mini-turbos through these sections.
- Item Boxes: Item boxes are placed strategically, often before or after muddy sections. Aim for Mushrooms to cut across the mud if necessary.
- Shortcut: There's a small shortcut through a muddy patch near the end of the lap, just before the finish line. A Mushroom is required to use it effectively without losing speed.
- Boost Panels: There are a few boost panels on the track, particularly on the wooden bridge sections. hit these for extra speed.
