Yoshi Falls is a circular track with a central waterfall and multiple paths. The main challenge here is choosing the right path and avoiding the water hazards. The track is relatively wide, allowing for good drifting opportunities.

- Path Choice: There are two main paths around the central waterfall. The inner path is shorter but tighter, while the outer path is wider and often has more item boxes. Experiment to see which you prefer.
- Water Hazards: Falling into the water will cost you valuable time. Be careful on the edges, especially when drifting.
- Drifting: The wide turns are perfect for long drifts. Aim for blue mini-turbo sparks if you can hold the drift long enough, but orange is perfectly fine for maintaining speed.
- Item Boxes: Item boxes are plentiful. Try to grab them on every lap. Triple Mushrooms or Stars are incredibly useful for cutting across the grass sections without penalty.
- Shortcut: With a Mushroom, you can cut across the small grassy island in the middle of the track, saving a significant amount of time. This is a high-risk, high-reward maneuver without a Mushroom.
Focus on clean driving and using the mini-turbos. If you get a Mushroom, don't hesitate to use the shortcut for a quick lead.
