If you get a Frenzy early in a race, use it aggressively to build a massive combo. If you're in first place and get a Coin Box Frenzy, try to stay in first to maximize coin collection. When approaching item boxes, consider your current position. If you're in the lead, you're more likely to get defensive items or single offensive items. If you're further back, you have a higher chance of getting powerful items like Super Stars or Lightning. Don't be afraid to restart a race if you have a bad item box run, especially in Ranked Cups, as Frenzies are often necessary for top scores.
