DK Summit is a snow-themed track with plenty of opportunities for tricks and shortcuts. The half-pipes are your best friend here; drive into them and perform a trick at the peak for a significant speed boost. There's a major shortcut near the beginning where you can use a Mushroom to cut across a snow bank. Another shortcut involves jumping over a gap after the first half-pipe section. Be wary of the moguls, as they can slow you down if you don't hit them correctly. A character with good off-road stats can be helpful for recovering from missed shortcuts or accidental detours into the snow.
