Rainbow Road is the ultimate test of skill, featuring no guardrails and numerous tight turns. Precision driving and mastering the drift are absolutely essential. There are several boost pads throughout the track; hit them all. Look for opportunities to perform tricks off the small bumps and ramps. The most significant shortcut involves using a Mushroom to jump across a large gap near the beginning of the track, but it requires perfect alignment. Falling off the track results in a significant time penalty. A character with high handling and drift, combined with a vehicle that offers good control, is highly recommended for this challenging course.
