Time Trials are an excellent way to hone your racing skills and learn the optimal lines on each track. In this mode, you race against the clock, aiming for the fastest lap and total race times. You can race against your own ghost data or download ghost data from top players (via the now-defunct Nintendo WFC or community efforts). Focus on perfecting your drifts, mini-turbos, and finding shortcuts. Every track has a Staff Ghost; beating these ghosts on all 32 tracks will unlock the Funky Kong character and the Sprinter bike. This mode is crucial for competitive play and mastering track layouts.
