Dolphin Shoals is a beautiful underwater track with strong currents, bouncy jellyfish, and a giant eel. This track heavily features underwater driving and anti-gravity sections, requiring careful navigation and awareness of your surroundings.
Strategy:
- Underwater Currents: The initial section has strong currents that can push you. Use them to your advantage by steering into them for boosts, or avoid them if they lead to obstacles.
- Jellyfish Forest: Drive through a forest of bouncy jellyfish. Hitting them will slow you down, so weave through carefully.
- Giant Eel: A large eel will occasionally block parts of the track. Time your movements to pass when its head is out of the way.
- Anti-Gravity Tunnel: A long anti-gravity tunnel with many turns. Bump into opponents for boosts and chain your drifts.
Karts with good handling and traction are highly recommended for Dolphin Shoals due to the underwater sections and tight turns. Mushrooms can be used to cut across certain parts of the water, but be aware of the currents. Defensive items are crucial to protect yourself from attacks in the narrow tunnels.
