Congratulations, Superstar! You've saved Pi'illo Island and defeated Antasma and Bowser. But the adventure doesn't have to end there! Dream Team offers a wealth of post-game content to challenge your skills, complete your collections, and truly master the Bros. Attacks.

Battle Ring Challenges

The Battle Ring, located in the Pi'illo Castle basement (accessed via the main hall), offers a series of increasingly difficult combat trials. These challenges are excellent for honing your attack timing, defense, and overall battle strategy. Completing them rewards you with valuable gear and experience.

• Accessing the Battle Ring: After the credits roll, return to Pi'illo Castle. Head to the main hall and descend the stairs to the basement.
• Challenge Tiers: The Battle Ring features multiple tiers of challenges, each with a unique set of enemies and conditions. You'll need to clear the previous tier to unlock the next.
• Rewards: Expect to earn rare gear like the Expert Boots (boosts POW and DEF) for Mario and Luigi, and the powerful Star Rank Badge (increases Badge Meter gain) for completing the toughest challenges. You'll also gain significant experience points, perfect for reaching Level 100.
• Strategy Tip: For later challenges, focus on optimizing your gear with stat-boosting equipment and badges that complement your playstyle. Don't be afraid to use your most powerful Bros. Attacks and items.

Expert Challenges

Beyond the main story and standard Battle Ring, the game introduces "Expert Challenges" for each Bros. Attack. These are unlocked after you've learned all Bros. Attacks and defeated the final boss. Speak to the various Pi'illo folk around the island who originally taught you the attacks.

• Challenge Locations:
  • Luigi's Hammer: Speak to the Pi'illo in Mushrise Park.
  • 3D Green Shell: Find the Pi'illo in Dozing Sands.
  • Drill Stomp: Visit the Pi'illo in Wakeport.
  • Fire Flower: Talk to the Pi'illo on Mount Pajamaja.
  • Bomb Derby: Locate the Pi'illo on Driftwood Shore.
  • Star Rocket: The Pi'illo for this challenge is in Somnom Woods.
• Objective: Each Expert Challenge requires you to execute the specific Bros. Attack perfectly multiple times in a row, often under a time limit or with specific enemy setups.
• Rewards: Successfully completing an Expert Challenge for a Bros. Attack will significantly increase its attack power permanently, making your future battles much easier. This is crucial for tackling the toughest optional bosses.

Collecting All Gear and Badges

If you're a completionist, the post-game is the perfect time to track down every piece of gear and every badge. Many powerful items are hidden in obscure locations or are rewards for side quests you might have missed.

• Hidden Blocks: Revisit every area, especially those with tricky platforming or environmental puzzles. Many invisible blocks containing valuable items or coins are scattered throughout Pi'illo Island and the Dream World. Use Luigi's Luiginary Works to reveal them.
• Item Shops: Check all the shops in areas like Wakeport and Pi'illo Castle. Some of their best inventory only becomes available after completing the main story. Look for items like the Excellent Boots or the Master Gauntlets.
• Side Quests: Some NPCs offer small side quests that reward unique badges or gear. For instance, helping the various Pi'illos around the island with their minor dilemmas can lead to unexpected treasures.
• Boss Rematches: While not explicitly stated as "rematches," some areas might have stronger versions of common enemies or even unique encounters that drop rare items.

Reaching Level 100

For the ultimate challenge, aim to get both Mario and Luigi to Level 100. This will require significant grinding, but the stat boosts make you virtually unstoppable. The Battle Ring is an excellent source of experience, as are the stronger enemies found in later areas of the Dream World.

  • Dreamy Somnom Woods: The enemies here provide good experience and are relatively easy to defeat with optimized Bros. Attacks.
  • Battle Ring: Repeatedly clear the highest tier of Battle Ring challenges you can manage.
• Gear for Grinding: Equip badges like the Coin Coffer Badge (increases coin drops) or the EXP. Socks (increases experience gain) to maximize your efficiency.
