This quest introduces you to more complex combat scenarios and the importance of Spark abilities. You'll need to navigate through a small maze-like area, solving a simple block-pushing puzzle to clear your path. Along the way, you'll face new enemy types, such as the Squasher, which requires a different tactical approach due to its high health and ground pound attack. use your newly acquired Sparks; for example, equipping a Pyrostar to Mario can significantly boost his damage output against certain enemies. The quest culminates in a mini-boss battle against the Spark Hunter, Midnite. Focus on destroying the Darkmess Eyes she summons and then targeting Midnite herself. She has a shield that needs to be broken by specific elemental attacks, so ensure your Sparks are well-chosen. Defeating her will rescue the first Spark and progress the story.
