Upon arriving at Pristine Peaks, your primary goal is to reach the Winter Palace. This quest involves navigating treacherous icy terrain and overcoming several Darkmess encounters. You'll be introduced to the 'Ice Block' puzzles, where you need to push blocks onto specific switches to open gates or create new paths. Keep an eye out for hidden pathways that might lead to optional rewards. The combat encounters will feature Frostbites and Squashes. Remember to use fire-based Sparks or heroes like Rabbid Mario (if unlocked) to deal super effective damage against Frostbites. Positioning is key on icy battlefields, as enemies can also slide into advantageous positions. You'll also encounter your first 'Darkmess Tentacle' blocking a path; you'll need to find a specific Spark or hero with the right elemental attack to destroy it. Reaching the Winter Palace will trigger the next major story beat.
