Adventure Mode Walkthrough: All Missions
Adventure Mode in Mario Tennis Aces is a comprehensive journey that introduces you to the game's mechanics through a series of increasingly challenging missions. As you progress, you'll unlock new characters, courts, and abilities, all while unraveling the story of the Power Shots and Lucien's plot.
Tutorial: Basic Training
Before diving into the main adventure, the Basic Training tutorial is essential. Here, you'll learn the fundamental controls for movement and shot execution. Mastering the different shot types – Topspin, Slice, and Flat – is crucial. Pay close attention to the timing required for charging shots, as this will be key to unleashing powerful shots and special moves later on. Practice hitting the targets accurately to build muscle memory for precise shot placement.
Mission: Boo's Court of Illusions
This mission presents a unique challenge where spectral Boos materialize on your side of the court, obstructing your vision and sometimes even interfering with your shots. To overcome this, you must strategically hit the Boos with your shots while they are visible. The Zone Speed ability, which slows down time, is invaluable here, allowing you to line up precise shots amidst the chaos. Keep an eye on the Boos' appearances and react quickly to clear them from the court.
Mission: Gooper Blooper's Tentacle Challenge
In Gooper Blooper's Tentacle Challenge, the court itself becomes an obstacle. Gooper Blooper's tentacles will emerge, blocking your path and shots. Your objective is to clear these tentacles by hitting them with charged shots. Each tentacle has a specific number of hits required to make it disappear, revealing the playable area. Careful aiming and consistent charged shots are necessary to navigate this tricky court and defeat the Blooper.
Mission: Snow Piranha Plant's Blizzard Battle
The Snow Piranha Plant unleashes blizzards that buffet both the ball and your character, making control difficult. Your primary goal is to strike the Piranha Plant's weak point – its mouth – when it's open, typically after it attacks. Charged shots are your best bet for dealing sificant damage. Be prepared for the unpredictable gusts of wind and adjust your positioning and shot timing accordingly to land those crucial hits.
