The 'Snap' mechanic is unique to Marvel Snap. At any point during a match, you can 'Snap' to double the number of Cosmic Cubes at stake. Your opponent can then retreat, or 'Snap' back to double them again. Cubes determine your rank progression. Knowing when to Snap (when you're confident in your win) and when to Retreat (to minimize cube loss) is a crucial skill. Don't be afraid to retreat if the game isn't going your way; it's better to lose 1-2 cubes than 4-8.
