Taskmaster is a recurring villain known for his ability to mimic the Avengers' combat styles. You'll encounter him multiple times throughout the campaign, with each encounter becoming progressively more challenging. His fights emphasize dodging, parrying, and exploiting his brief openings.

Phases & Attacks:
- Phase 1 (Melee & Shield): Taskmaster primarily uses sword attacks and throws his shield, similar to Captain America. He'll also perform a charging attack.
- Phase 2 (Ranged & Gadgets): He'll incorporate pistol shots, grenades, and sometimes a grappling hook, mimicking Black Widow.
- Phase 3 (Combined): He'll combine all his learned abilities, becoming more aggressive and unpredictable.
Strategy:
- Dodge & Parry: Taskmaster's attacks are often telegraphed. Focus on perfect dodges to create slow-motion windows for counter-attacks. Parry his melee strikes when prompted.
- Exploit Openings: After a heavy attack or a missed charge, Taskmaster will be vulnerable for a short period. Unleash your strongest combos and heroic abilities during these windows.
- Ranged Pressure: If playing a ranged hero, keep your distance and pepper him with attacks, but be ready to dodge his projectiles.
- Heroic Abilities: Save your Ultimate Heroic for when he's stunned or vulnerable to maximize damage.
Recommended Heroes:
- Black Widow: Her agility, stun attacks (Widow's Bite), and ranged options are excellent for this fight.
- Captain America: His perfect parry and shield throws are highly effective against Taskmaster's melee and shield attacks.
Rewards:
Completing Taskmaster encounters typically rewards gear, XP, and sometimes unique cosmetic items or resources. The final encounter in the campaign provides significant story progression.
