There are two primary types of power combos in Mass Effect 3: Biotic Combos and Tech Combos. Biotic Combos:

Biotic combos are generated by using biotic powers. They are particularly effective against organic enemies and can strip away defenses, deal significant damage, and control crowds.

• Primers: Abilities like Warp, Throw, or Singularity apply a biotic primer to an enemy.
• Detonators: Abilities like Shockwave, Nova, or Reave can detonate a primed enemy, causing an explosion of biotic energy.

Example: A Soldier might use Warp on an enemy to prime them, and then have their biotic squadmate, like Liara, use Shockwave to detonate the Warp, causing a biotic explosion.

Tech Combos:

Tech combos are generated by using tech abilities. They are highly effective against synthetic enemies and can disrupt shields, overload armor, and deal damage over time.

• Primers: Abilities like Overload, Incinerate, or Cryo Blast apply a tech primer.
• Detonators: Abilities like Incinerate (if it's the detonator), Energy Drain, or Combat Drones can detonate a primed enemy, causing a tech explosion.

Example: An Engineer might use Incinerate on a shielded enemy to prime them, and then use Energy Drain to detonate the Incinerate, causing a tech explosion that damages shields and armor.

Teamwork and Synergy:

The true power of combos is realized through effective teamwork. Your squadmates are not just damage dealers; they are essential components of your combo strategy. Coordinate with them to ensure you have a balanced loadout of primers and detonators.
