The Kett Archon's Sword is a powerful Kett mech encountered during the 'Hunting the Archon' mission. It possesses heavy armor and devastating close-range attacks. The key to defeating it is to maintain distance, focus fire on its weak points, and utilize tech and biotic combos to strip its shields and armor. Bring squadmates with Overload, Incinerate, or Energy Drain to quickly remove its defenses. Dodge its melee swings and watch out for its ground pound attack, which creates a shockwave.
Phases & Strategy:
- Phase 1 (Shielded): The Sword is heavily shielded. Focus all tech and biotic powers that strip shields (Overload, Energy Drain) on it. Keep moving to avoid its charge and melee attacks.
- Phase 2 (Armored): Once shields are down, its armor is exposed. Switch to powers and weapons effective against armor (Incinerate, Concussive Shot, high-damage assault rifles/shotguns). Its attacks become more aggressive.
- Phase 3 (Weak Points Exposed): Periodically, glowing weak points will appear on its body. Focus fire on these for critical damage. This is your window to deal significant damage. Repeat phases until defeated.
