This achievement rewards players who consistently make smart decisions that minimize risk and maximize efficiency. A core element of tactical gameplay is understanding the interplay of different damage types and status effects. For example, using a biotic ability like Warp to debuff an enemy's defenses before unleashing a barrage of gunfire from your M-92 Mantis sniper rifle can sificantly increase your damage output. Similarly, employing tech abilities like Sabotage to disable enemy weapons or shields can turn the tide of a difficult firefight, especially against heavily armored opponents like the Krogan Battlemasters.
Effective squad management is another hallmark of a skilled tactician. You must learn the strengths and weaknesses of each squadmate, such as Garrus's proficiency with sniper rifles or Tali's expertise with Geth technology.
