Once your village is established, farming and animal husbandry become crucial for self-sufficiency. To start farming, you'll need to build a Barn and a Field. Use a Hoe to create fields, then a Fertilizer (made from manure) and Seeds (purchased from vendors or harvested). Different crops have different growing seasons. Wheat, rye, and oats are staples, while cabbage, carrots, and onions provide variety. Animal husbandry requires building specific animal enclosures (e.g., Pigsty, Cow Shed, Fold) and purchasing animals from vendors. Animals provide resources like milk, eggs, wool, and manure. Assigning villagers to these tasks in the Barn or animal buildings will automate production, ensuring a steady supply of food and materials for your growing village.
