While combat is not the primary focus, having adequate weapons and armor is crucial for hunting and self-defense against aggressive animals or bandits. Your first weapon will likely be a Stone Spear (2 Sticks, 1 Stone), effective for hunting small to medium game. Later, you can craft a Simple Bow (1 Log, 1 Linen Thread) and Stone Arrows (1 Stick, 1 Stone, 1 Feather) for ranged combat. As you progress, you'll unlock better weapons like Iron Axes, Iron Spears, and Longbows. Armor provides damage reduction. Early on, you might craft simple Leather Armor (requires Leather from hunting). Later, you can craft more robust Iron Armor. Remember that armor also has durability and needs to be repaired. Always be prepared when venturing into dangerous areas.
