To find a wife, you need to build relationships with female NPCs in other villages. Look for single women (they won't have a spouse listed in their dialogue options). Engage them in conversation daily. You'll see a 'heart' icon appear when you talk to them, indicating your relationship level. Choose positive dialogue options and offer gifts (flowers are a good early choice, or food items). Each successful interaction increases your affection. Once your affection reaches a certain level (usually around 70-80%), you'll get a dialogue option to 'Flirt' or 'Confess your feelings'. Continue to build affection until you can propose marriage. You'll need a house with a bed for two (e.g., a 'Small House' or larger) for your wife to move in. Be patient, as this process can take several seasons.
