Beyond basic CQC, Snake can perform advanced maneuvers. Holding L1 during a CQC grab allows you to interrogate enemies for intel or use them as human shields. Tapping L1 rapidly during a grab can choke out enemies silently. You can also disarm enemies by pressing L1 + Triangle when they attack. Mastering these techniques is crucial for non-lethal runs and for controlling situations without raising alarms. Experiment with different button combinations during CQC to discover all of Snake's close-quarters capabilities. Practice makes perfect.
