The End is a legendary sniper, fought in a vast, multi-area jungle environment. This is a true sniper duel, requiring patience and keen observation.
- Tracking: Use your binoculars to scan the environment for his sniper glint. Thermal Goggles can also help, but he often moves. The Directional Microphone can pinpoint his location by listening for his breathing or parrot.
- Stamina Drain: He can tranquilize you, draining your stamina. If your stamina drops too low, he can capture you.
- Weakness: His old age. He sometimes falls asleep, providing an opportunity for a close-range attack or a headshot.
- Non-Lethal Strategy: Use the Mk22. Aim for his head. This is a long and challenging fight. You can also sneak up on him from behind and hold him up with CQC for a special reward (his Mosin Nagant sniper rifle).
- Alternative Strategy: You can skip this fight entirely by saving and reloading your game after the initial encounter, or by changing your console's clock forward by a week, causing him to die of old age.
- Reward: If defeated non-lethally, you receive the 'Moss' camouflage.
