Major Zero is Snake's commanding officer and the head of Operation Snake Eater. He provides mission briefings, objectives, and strategic advice via radio. His 'build' is purely informational, guiding Snake through the mission. The support team also includes:

- Sigint: Offers technical support, weapon information, and gadget explanations.
- EVA: A mysterious agent who provides tactical information, often with a hidden agenda.
