Act 1 kicks off with Snake's insertion into the jungle. Immediately after landing, you'll need to get your bearings and begin moving towards the objective marker. The jungle is teeming with enemy patrols, so constant vigilance is key. use the tall grass and dense foliage for cover. The Motion Detector is your best friend here, but remember it doesn't detect enemies who are stationary or prone. Listen for enemy footsteps and chatter to anticipate their movements. You'll encounter your first Kerotan frog early on; shooting these is a fun side activity that can yield rewards. As you progress, you'll learn about CQC (Close Quarters Combat), a vital tool for silent takedowns. Practice grabbing enemies from behind and either choking them out or performing a lethal takedown. Be mindful of your surroundings; snakes and other wildlife can be dangerous if not handled carefully. You'll also need to manage your hunger and health, so keep an eye out for rations and medicinal plants. The early sections of Act 1 are designed to teach you the fundamentals of survival and stealth.
