Welcome, aspiring Big Boss! This section details all the Trophies and Achievements available in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Earning them all will require skill, stealth, and a deep understanding of the game's mechanics. Prepare for a challenging but rewarding journey!

Story-Related Trophies (Bronze/Silver)

These trophies are unlocked automatically as you progress through the main story. You cannot miss them, so simply enjoy the narrative!

• Virtuous Mission Accomplished: Complete the Virtuous Mission.
• Snake Eater: Complete Operation Snake Eater.
• The Boss's Legacy: Defeat The Boss.
• Shagohod Down: Destroy the Shagohod.
• Volgin's Fury: Defeat Colonel Volgin.

Combat & Stealth Trophies (Bronze/Silver)

These trophies focus on your prowess in combat and your ability to remain undetected.

• Ghost of Tselinoyarsk: Complete the game without triggering a single Combat Alert.
  • Strategy: This is one of the toughest challenges. Prioritize CQC takedowns and tranquilizer rounds. Use your binoculars extensively to mark enemy patrols. Equip the Stealth Camo (unlocked after a no-kill, no-alert playthrough or by collecting all Kerotan frogs) for easier navigation. Save frequently and reload if an alert is triggered.
  • Key Areas: Dremuchij South, Rassvet, Bolshaya Past Base, Groznyj Grad. These areas have high enemy density.
• Marksman: Achieve 100 headshots.
  • Strategy: The EZ Gun (unlocked after a no-kill playthrough or by collecting 64 Kerotan frogs) is excellent for this due to its infinite suppressor and steady aim. Target stationary guards or those unaware of your presence. The M1911A1 and AK-47 are also reliable for headshots.
• CQC Master: Perform 50 CQC takedowns.
  • Strategy: Repeatedly use CQC (Circle button near an enemy) to grab and subdue enemies. You can interrogate them, knock them out, or slit their throats. This is easily farmed in areas with multiple guards, such as the Dolinovodno bridge or the Groznyj Grad prison.
• Knife Specialist: Defeat 20 enemies using only the Survival Knife.
  • Strategy: Equip your Survival Knife and approach enemies from behind for a stealth kill. This is best done on lower difficulties or against isolated targets. The knife is also effective against animals for food.
• No Kill Run: Complete the game without killing any enemies (excluding bosses).
  • Strategy: Rely exclusively on the tranquilizer gun (Mk22) and CQC knockouts. Avoid using lethal weapons entirely. Bosses are an exception; you can use lethal force against them. The EZ Gun makes this significantly easier due to its infinite tranquilizer ammo.

Exploration & Collection Trophies (Bronze/Silver)

These trophies reward thorough exploration and the discovery of hidden items.

• Kerotan Collector: Find and shoot all 64 Kerotan frogs.
  • Strategy: These small, green frog figurines are hidden in every major area of the game. Many are well-concealed. Refer to a dedicated Kerotan frog guide for precise locations. Shooting them with any weapon will count. You'll hear a distinct "ribbit" sound when you're near one.
  • Reward: Collecting all Kerotan frogs unlocks the Stealth Camo.
• Taste Tester: Eat every type of food available in the game.
  • Strategy: This includes various animals (snakes, birds, fish, frogs, etc.) and plants (mushrooms, fruits). Some food items are rare or found in specific regions. Ensure you capture and eat at least one of each. Use the Survival Viewer to check your food inventory.
  • Important: Some food items are poisonous. You'll need to cure yourself with the appropriate medicine if you eat them.
• Camouflage King: Obtain all camouflage patterns.
  • Strategy: Camouflage patterns are found in various locations, often in hard-to-reach spots or as rewards for specific actions (e.g., defeating bosses non-lethally). Pay close attention to your surroundings. Some patterns are also given by specific characters or found in lockers.
  • Notable Camos:
    • Splitter Camo: Found in Rassvet, inside the building where you find EVA.
    • Water Camo: Found in the Graniny Gorki Lab, inside a locker.
    • Ga-Ko Camo: Found in the Graniny Gorki Lab, in the sewers.
    • Hornet Stripe: Defeat The Pain non-lethally.
    • Spider Camo: Defeat The Fear non-lethally.
    • Moss Camo: Defeat The End non-lethally (by sneaking up on him and holding him up three times).
    • Spirit Camo: Defeat The Sorrow by surviving his gauntlet without dying.
    • Cold War Camo: Defeat Colonel Volgin non-lethally.
    • Snake Camo: Defeat The Boss non-lethally.

Miscellaneous Trophies (Bronze/Silver)

These trophies cover unique actions and challenges.

• The End's Demise: Defeat The End.
  • Alternative Method: You can also earn this trophy by saving your game after entering his boss arena, then waiting a week (real-world time) or by manually changing your console's clock forward. He will die of old age.
• A Hideo Kojima Game: Find all hidden "Hideo" easter eggs.
  • Strategy: These are subtle references to the game's creator. One notable example is the "Hideo" poster in Graniny Gorki Lab's office. Keep an eye out for other subtle nods throughout the game.
• The Patriot: Obtain the Patriot.
  • Strategy: The Patriot is The Boss's signature weapon. It is unlocked after completing the game on any difficulty.
• Fashionista: Change into every available uniform.
  • Strategy: Simply equip each uniform you acquire at least once. This includes all camouflage patterns, the Scientist Uniform, and the Raikov Mask.

Platinum Trophy (PlayStation) / 1000G (Xbox)

• Big Boss: Earn all other trophies.
  • Strategy: This ultimate achievement requires dedication and mastery of all aspects of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Good luck, Snake!
