Movement & Stance

Your choice of movement and stance is a critical component of stealth gameplay in the Metal Gear Solid series. Snake's ability to adapt his posture and speed directly impacts his visibility to enemies and his effectiveness in combat. From a brisk sprint to a silent crawl, each movement option serves a specific purpose. Walking and Running

Walking: A gentle push of the analog stick or a light press of the movement keys results in a quiet, slow walk. This is ideal for moving around enemies without drawing attention, especially in well-lit areas or when enemies are close by.

Running: A full push of the analog stick or holding down a dedicated run button will make Snake sprint. Running is faster but significantly louder and more conspicuous. Use it sparingly, typically when you need to quickly cover ground or escape a dangerous situation.

Crouching and Prone
