Walkthrough: Main Ops 003-006

This mission introduces you to the concept of stealth and enemy awareness. Your primary objective is to follow the train without being detected.

Starting Area: Selva de la Leche: Camino de la Leche
Strategy:
1. Immediately upon starting, crouch and move forward. There's an enemy patrol ahead. Wait for him to turn his back, then use a CQC throw or tranquilizer to incapacitate him.
2. Continue along the path. You'll encounter more patrols. Prioritize stealth takedowns (CQC or tranquilizer) over lethal force to maintain a good mission rank.
3. Item Location: In the first open area with a small hut, check inside for a Ration.
4. The train will periodically stop. Use these opportunities to close the distance. Stay in cover (bushes, rocks) and observe enemy patrol patterns.
5. Transition: Selva de la Leche: Ladera Este. This area is more open. Stick to the left side, using the dense foliage for cover.
6. Item Location: Near the end of Ladera Este, before the next transition, there's a small rock formation. Check behind it for M1911A1 (Pistol) ammo.
7. Transition: Selva de la Leche: Puente Viejo. This is the final stretch. The train will be visible. Avoid the searchlights from the train.
8. Mission End: Once you reach the end of the bridge, the mission will conclude.
Important Note: If you are detected, the train will speed up, making it harder to keep pace. Restarting from a checkpoint is often the best option if you're aiming for an S-rank.

This mission requires you to destroy an enemy barricade. You'll be introduced to explosives.

Starting Area: El Centroamerica: Aldea Los Despiertos
Strategy:
1. Move through the village. There are several guards patrolling. Use tranquilizers or CQC to neutralize them.
2. Item Location: Inside the first large building on your left, you can find M1911A1 (Pistol) and Mosin Nagant (Sniper Rifle) ammo.
3. Proceed to the next section of the village. The barricade is at the far end.
4. Objective: You need to destroy the barricade. You'll be provided with Grenades at the start of the mission.
5. Approach the barricade cautiously. There are guards positioned near it. Take them out silently.
6. Destroying the Barricade: Equip your Grenades and throw them at the barricade. It will take 2-3 grenades to destroy it. Aim carefully to avoid hitting yourself or alerting nearby guards unnecessarily.
7. Mission End: Once the barricade is destroyed, the mission will be complete.
Tip: If you run out of grenades, check the surrounding area for item boxes. Sometimes, additional grenades or other explosives can be found.

This mission focuses on rescuing a key character, Chico. It involves navigating a prison camp.

Starting Area: El Centroamerica: Base de la Selva
Strategy:
1. From the start, move forward cautiously. There are multiple guards patrolling the perimeter of the base.
2. Item Location: In the first guard post you encounter, check the small building for a Ration and M1911A1 (Pistol) ammo.
3. Your objective is to reach the prison cells, which are located in the center-north part of the base.
4. use the various structures and crates for cover. Avoid direct confrontations if possible.
5. Prison Cell Area: Once you reach the prison area, you'll find several cells. Chico is in one of them.
6. Finding Chico: Interact with each cell door until you find Chico. He's usually in one of the cells on the right side.
7. After Rescuing Chico: Once Chico is freed, you need to escort him out of the base. He will follow you automatically.
8. Escort Strategy: Be extra careful during the escort. Chico is vulnerable. Prioritize clearing paths of enemies before moving him through. Use the tranquilizer gun extensively.
9. Extraction Point: The extraction point is back at the mission's starting area. Lead Chico back the way you came.
10. Mission End: Once both you and Chico reach the extraction point, the mission will conclude.
Caution: If Chico takes too much damage, the mission will fail. Stay close to him and protect him.

This mission requires you to infiltrate an enemy compound and retrieve vital intelligence.

Starting Area: El Centroamerica: Ruinas de Xochiquetzal
Strategy:
1. This area is a series of ancient ruins, offering plenty of cover but also many blind spots for enemies.
2. Item Location: Near the initial spawn, behind some fallen pillars, you can find Mosin Nagant (Sniper Rifle) ammo.
3. Navigate through the ruins, being mindful of elevated enemy positions. Snipers are a common threat here.
4. Intel Location: The intel is located inside the main temple structure in the center of the ruins.
5. Infiltrating the Temple: There are multiple entry points. The front entrance is heavily guarded. Consider using a side entrance or a less obvious path.
6. Inside the Temple: The temple interior is usually a multi-level area with several guards. Use stealth to incapacitate them.
7. Retrieving Intel: The intel is typically found on a table or pedestal in a central room within the temple. Interact with it to collect it.
8. Exiting the Compound: After acquiring the intel, you need to exit the area. The extraction point is usually at the opposite end of the ruins from where you started.
9. Mission End: Reach the extraction point to complete the mission.
Recommended Gear: A sniper rifle (like the Mosin Nagant) can be very useful for taking out distant snipers or patrols from a safe distance.
