Recruiting soldiers for your Mother Base is one of the most important side activities. You can recruit soldiers in several ways:
- Fulton Recovery System: The most common method. Use it on unconscious or surrendered enemies during missions. Higher-ranking soldiers often appear in later missions or specific Extra Ops.
- POW Rescue: Some missions feature POWs who can be rescued and automatically join your ranks.
- Recruit Ops: Specific Extra Ops are designed to help you find and recruit soldiers with high stats.
- Wi-Fi Scan: (PSP only) Scan for other PSPs to find new recruits.
Always prioritize recruiting soldiers with high stats in R&D, Combat, Intel, Medical, and Support. These individuals will significantly boost your Mother Base's capabilities, allowing you to develop better gear and succeed in more challenging missions. check the 'Staff' menu in Mother Base to assign new recruits to their appropriate teams.
