Gene is a formidable opponent with incredible speed and CQC abilities. He is the final boss of the game, and defeating him requires precision and patience.
Phase 1: CQC Duel
- Attacks: Gene will primarily use a series of rapid CQC combos, often ending with a powerful kick or throw. He can also throw knives.
- Strategy: Focus on dodging his attacks. Use the environment for cover, but be aware that he can quickly close distances. The key here is to counter his CQC. When he lunges, try to initiate your own CQC counter (press Square at the right moment). This will stun him, allowing you to land a few shots with your most powerful weapon (e.g., M1911A1, AK-47).
- Recommended Gear: M1911A1 (for quick shots after CQC counters), Rations for health.
Phase 2: Teleportation and Projectiles
- Attacks: Gene will start teleporting around the arena, making him harder to track. He'll also throw multiple knives and occasionally charge with a powerful CQC attack.
- Strategy: Keep your distance. Use your radar to anticipate his teleportation points. When he reappears, quickly aim and fire. The SVD (sniper rifle) can be effective if you're quick enough to line up a shot, but an assault rifle like the AK-47 offers more sustained fire. If he charges, be ready to dodge or attempt another CQC counter.
