Episode 7: Red Brass

This mission tasks you with extracting two high-value targets: the Viscount and the Major. Stealth is highly recommended for an S-Rank, as direct confrontation can quickly escalate. Bringing D-Dog as your buddy is invaluable for marking enemies and resources.

Mission Prep & Loadout

• Buddy: D-Dog (essential for marking targets and enemies).
• Weapons: Suppressed tranquilizer pistol (e.g., WU S. PISTOL + Suppressor), Suppressed assault rifle (e.g., AM MRS-4 + Suppressor) for emergencies.
• Items: Fulton Recovery System, Cardboard Box, Night Vision Goggles (if attempting at night).
• Optional: Stun Grenades, Smoke Grenades.

Infiltrating the Wakh Sind Barracks

1. Landing Zone: Choose the landing zone to the west of Wakh Sind Barracks. This provides a good vantage point and avoids immediate enemy patrols.
2. Initial Recon: As soon as you land, deploy D-Dog. Command him to scout the barracks. He will mark all enemies, the Viscount, and the Major. Pay close attention to their patrol routes.
3. Approach: Head east from your landing zone, staying low and using the rocky terrain for cover. There's a small path leading up to the western side of the barracks.
4. Perimeter Guard: You'll likely encounter a lone guard patrolling the western perimeter. Tranquilize and Fulton him.
5. Entering the Barracks: There are several ways in. A good, stealthy approach is to use the low wall on the western side. Wait for patrols to pass before climbing over.

Locating and Extracting the Targets

Both the Viscount and the Major are located within the Wakh Sind Barracks. Their exact positions can vary slightly, but D-Dog will pinpoint them.

The Viscount

• Location: The Viscount is typically found on the ground floor of the main building, often in the central courtyard area or one of the adjacent rooms.
• Extraction Strategy:
  1. Once D-Dog has marked him, observe his patrol route.
  2. Wait for him to be in a relatively isolated spot.
  3. Approach from behind, tranquilize him, and immediately Fulton him out. Ensure no other guards are in line of sight.
  4. If he's inside a building, you may need to clear out a few nearby guards first. Lure them out with thrown magazines or by knocking on walls.
• Alternative: If you're having trouble, you can use a Cardboard Box to sneak past guards to reach him.

The Major

• Location: The Major is usually found on the second floor of the main building, often in one of the offices or overlooking the courtyard.
• Extraction Strategy:
  1. After extracting the Viscount, focus on the Major. D-Dog will keep him marked.
  2. Ascend to the second floor. There are stairs on both the north and south sides of the main building.
  3. Be wary of guards patrolling the corridors and rooms on the second floor. Clear them out silently with tranquilizers and Fulton them.
  4. Once you have a clear path, approach the Major. He may be stationary or have a short patrol route.
  5. Tranquilize him and Fulton him out.
• Important Note: Extracting both targets quickly and without raising an alert is crucial for an S-Rank.

Exfiltration

Once both targets are extracted, you can leave the mission area. The fastest way is often to head back to your initial landing zone or call for an extraction helicopter from a safe distance.

S-Rank Tips

• Speed: Complete the mission as quickly as possible. Aim for under 10 minutes.
• Stealth: Avoid all alerts and combat. Do not kill any enemies.
• No Retries: Do not use the "Restart from Checkpoint" option.
• Fulton All Enemies: While not strictly necessary for an S-Rank, Fultoning all guards you neutralize adds to your score and provides valuable recruits.
• No Reflex Mode: Try to avoid triggering Reflex Mode. If it activates, quickly tranquilize the enemy before they can raise an alarm.
