Blueprint Locations
Unlocking new crafting recipes is paramount to surviving the harsh realities of Dite. Blueprints are scattered throughout the world, often found in specific locations or awarded for completing certain objectives. Prioritizing their collection will grant you access to better weapons, armor, tools, and base upgrades.
Chapter 1 Blueprints
- Workbench Blueprint: Found in the initial survivor camp area, usually near the starting crafting station. This is essential for unlocking most subsequent crafting options.
- Basic Melee Weapon Blueprint: Often located in a small, abandoned structure or supply crate shortly after leaving the initial safe zone. This allows for the crafting of items like the Machete.
- Basic Ranged Weapon Blueprint: Typically found in a more exposed area, perhaps near a downed vehicle or a small outpost. This will enable the crafting of rudimentary bows.
Chapter 2 & 3 Blueprints
- Improved Melee Weapon Blueprint: Look for these in more fortified enemy encampments or within larger, more complex ruins. The Spear blueprint is a common find here.
- Advanced Ammunition Blueprint: These are often guarded by tougher enemies or found in areas with higher concentrations of Wanderers.
- Medical Supplies Blueprint: Seek these out in abandoned medical facilities or research outposts.
Later Game & Special Blueprints
- Heavy Weapon Blueprints: These are typically found in high-security areas, often tied to main story progression or specific side missions. The Composite Bow blueprint, for instance, might be found in a more remote, dangerous zone.
- Base Defense Blueprints: Look for these in areas where you are tasked with defending a specific location or resource.
- Specialized Tool Blueprints: These can be found in unique environmental puzzles or as rewards for defeating certain mini-bosses.
Always be on the lookout for glowing items or interactable containers. Many blueprints are not immediately obvious and require thorough exploration of every nook and cranny. Some may also be unlocked by completing specific co-op missions, so don't neglect multiplayer.
