Ranged weapons allow you to engage enemies from a distance, providing a safer combat option. They consume ammunition, which must be crafted or found. The earliest ranged weapon you'll acquire is the Bow, which uses craftable arrows and is excellent for stealth kills. Later, you'll unlock firearms such as Pistols (low damage, high accuracy, often silenced), Shotguns (high close-range damage, wide spread), Assault Rifles (medium damage, high fire rate), and Sniper Rifles (very high damage, low fire rate, long range).
Ammunition types vary for each weapon, so ensure you have a steady supply of the correct ammo. Ranged weapons also have durability and can be upgraded to increase damage, accuracy, and magazine capacity. Prioritize headshots with ranged weapons to maximize damage and conserve precious ammunition. Always consider the range and fire rate of your weapon when engaging different enemy types.
