Mission Type: Defend the Wormhole Gate

These missions are the most common co-op encounters. The primary objective is to prevent Wanderers from breaching the wormhole gate for a set amount of time or until a certain number of waves are cleared. Success hinges on establishing effective defensive perimeters and managing your team's roles.

1. Initial Setup: Upon spawning, immediately assess the environment. Identify potential choke points and areas where defenses can be most effectively placed. Communicate with your team about who will focus on crafting, who will gather resources, and who will begin setting up initial defenses.
2. Resource Management: Desate a player or two to focus on gathering essential resources like wood, metal, and Kuban Energy. These are vital for crafting ammunition, repairing defenses, and upgrading weapons.
3. Defense Construction: Prioritize building barricades and traps at key entry points. Upgraded barricades are crucial for slowing down larger groups of Wanderers. Consider placing explosive traps or automated turrets if blueprints allow.
4. Wave Management: As waves begin, focus fire on the most dangerous threats. Wanderers often come in distinct types, so identify and prioritize them accordingly. Communicate enemy positions and call out for assistance when overwhelmed.
5. Player Roles: Ass roles dynamically. One player might be a dedicated sniper, another a close-quarters combatant with melee weapons, and another a support role focusing on healing and repairs.
6. Reviving Teammates: Do not hesitate to revive downed teammates. However, assess the risk; sometimes it's safer to hold the line and let a downed player respawn at the base.
