Your main objective in this chapter is to locate a mysterious signal source deep within a dust zone. This will require careful navigation and resource management. Before heading out, ensure your Oxygen Tank is full, you have plenty of purified water and cooked food, and your weapons are repaired. Equip a reliable melee weapon and a ranged weapon if available.
Follow the objective marker into the dust. Use your map and compass to stay oriented, as visibility will be extremely low. You'll encounter more aggressive Wanderers and potentially new enemy types. Use stealth to avoid large groups, and set up fences or traps if you anticipate a fight. The signal source will typically be located within a ruined structure or a unique landmark. Once you reach the source, interact with it to trigger a cutscene and advance the story. Be prepared for a potential ambush upon reaching the objective.
