Base Defense Missions are a core cooperative activity in Metal Gear Survive. These missions require you to defend your wormhole digger from waves of Wanderers. You can undertake these solo or with up to three other players. Before starting, you'll need to set up defenses around the digger, including fences, barricades, and automated turrets. Strategic placement of these defenses is key to success.
During the defense, you'll need to repair damaged defenses, eliminate incoming enemies, and manage your resources. Successful completion rewards you with Kuban Energy, rare materials, and blueprints for advanced defenses and weapons. Higher difficulty defense missions offer better rewards but require more coordination and stronger gear. Regularly participating in these missions is vital for acquiring the best equipment and leveling up your character.
