The Hind D is a formidable attack helicopter that you'll face in an open-air environment. This is one of the more challenging boss fights due to its mobility and powerful weaponry.
- Location: An open helipad or large outdoor area.
- Attack Pattern: The Hind D flies around the screen, firing machine gun bursts and occasionally launching missiles. It will try to position itself directly above or in front of Snake.
- Weakness: The Rocket Launcher is the only effective weapon against the Hind D. You will need a significant amount of rockets.
- Strategy: This is a pure Rocket Launcher fight. Equip your Rocket Launcher and aim carefully. The Hind D moves, so you'll need to lead your shots. Focus on dodging its machine gun fire and especially its missiles, which can deal heavy damage. Use any available cover (though limited in this area) to avoid attacks. Conserve your rockets and only fire when you have a clear shot. This fight is a test of your rocket accuracy and dodging skills.
- Reward: Opens the path to the final areas of Outer Heaven.
Ensure you have at least 10-15 rockets before engaging the Hind D. If you run out, you'll be in a very difficult situation.
