Outer Heaven is full of secrets. Many valuable items, including extra ammunition, Rations, and even powerful weapons, are hidden behind destructible walls or in obscure locations. Pay attention to walls that look slightly different or have unusual textures. Some walls can be destroyed by punching them repeatedly (when unarmed) or by using Plastic Explosives (C4).
Tips for finding hidden items:
- Punching Walls: If a wall sounds different when you punch it, it might be destructible. Keep punching!
- C4: Use C4 on suspicious walls, especially in areas where you suspect a secret passage or item.
- Exploration: Thoroughly explore every screen, checking corners and behind objects.
- Intel from Prisoners: Some prisoners will give you direct hints about hidden items or destructible walls.
Finding these hidden items can significantly boost your resources and make challenging encounters much easier. For example, finding extra Grenades or a Shotgun early can change your combat strategy.
