While basic stealth involves avoiding detection, advanced techniques can make you virtually invisible.

- Cardboard Box Mastery: Don't just use the box to hide. If you enter a new screen while in a box, enemies might not immediately detect you, allowing for a quick repositioning. You can also move slowly while in the box to adjust your position without being seen.
- Sound Awareness: Pay attention to the sound cues. Footsteps indicate patrolling guards, and a distinct '!' sound means you've been spotted. Learn to react instantly.
- Line of Sight Exploitation: Enemies have a limited cone of vision. Use corners, pillars, and other environmental elements to break their line of sight. Even a single pixel can sometimes be enough to remain hidden.
- Punching Guards: While risky, punching a guard from behind (when unarmed) can be a silent way to neutralize them without expending ammo. This is particularly useful in tight corridors or when you need to pass through a specific spot quickly.
- Door Manipulation: Opening and closing doors can sometimes reset enemy patrol patterns or create temporary distractions. Experiment with this in tricky situations.
The key to advanced stealth is understanding enemy AI and using the environment to your advantage. Practice makes perfect!
