As you attempt to channel the Amplifier, the 'Blight Lord's Avatar' manifests to stop you. This is a major boss fight, representing the Blight Lord's direct influence.
Blight Lord's Avatar Strategy:
- Phase 1 (Corrupting Aura): The Avatar will remain stationary, emitting a wide 'Corrupting Aura' that deals continuous damage and slows you. It also summons 'Blighted Minions'. Stay out of the aura as much as possible. Use Owl Form for ranged attacks, or Lynx Form for quick bursts of damage, retreating from the aura. Prioritize the Minions to prevent being overwhelmed.
- Phase 2 (Shadow Tendrils): At 60% health, the Avatar will begin to move, using 'Shadow Tendrils' to lash out and pull you closer. It will also create 'Blighted Pools' on the ground. Dodge the tendrils and avoid the pools. Bear Form can tank some hits, but constant movement is key. Use your most powerful abilities during its recovery animations after a tendril attack.
- Phase 3 (Desperation): Below 30% health, the Avatar will become highly aggressive, combining all previous attacks. It will also periodically become invulnerable, requiring you to destroy 'Blighted Cores' that appear around the arena. Focus fire on these cores quickly to make the Avatar vulnerable again. This phase is a test of endurance and resource management.
Upon defeating the Blight Lord's Avatar, the Blightheart Nexus will stabilize, and the purification process will begin. This completes Chapter 3 and unlocks a new Prime Form: 'Phoenix Form', granting fire-based attacks and a powerful self-resurrection ability.
