Scattered across Aethelgard are 'Challenge Arenas', marked by ancient stone circles. Interacting with these circles initiates a timed combat challenge against waves of increasingly difficult enemies. There are five Challenge Arenas in total, each with three difficulty tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
Arena Types:
- Survival Arena: Defeat all waves without dying.
- Time Trial Arena: Defeat all waves within a strict time limit.
- Form-Locked Arena: Complete the challenge using only a specific Prime Form (e.g., Bear Form only).
Completing each tier rewards you with 'Arena Tokens', which can be exchanged at the 'Arena Master' NPC (located in the Eldorian Outskirts) for unique gear, powerful consumables, and rare crafting materials. Achieving Gold tier in all arenas unlocks a special 'Gladiator's Aspect' cosmetic and a permanent stat bonus.
