Phase 1: Tentacle Swipes & Projectiles
This X-Parasite form of Z-57 is a more aggressive version of the original boss. It retains similar arm swipe attacks, but they are faster and often leave behind damaging X-Parasite blobs. It will also spit more projectiles. Your strategy remains similar: target its head, dodge its attacks, and look for melee counter opportunities. The X-Parasite blobs can be absorbed for health and missiles, so use them to your advantage. The arena might also be more constricted or have additional hazards.
Phase 2: Enhanced Wind & Absorption
In the second phase, the X-Parasite Z-57 will utilize enhanced wind attacks, often pushing you into damaging areas. It will also frequently summon more X-Parasite blobs. Use your Flash Shift to resist the wind and quickly absorb the blobs for resources. Its wall-climbing and air blast attacks will be faster and more unpredictable. Continue to target its head, especially after dodging its powerful attacks. The key is to stay mobile, manage your resources by absorbing X-Parasites, and exploit any openings for charged shots and missiles.
