After the opening cinematic, you'll gain control of Samus. Head right, following the path. You'll encounter your first enemies, teaching you basic beam attacks and the melee counter. Continue through the doors until you reach a Network Station. Save your game and proceed. You'll soon encounter your first E.M.M.I. and lose most of your abilities. This is scripted. Escape the E.M.M.I. Zone and find the Omega Stream to temporarily defeat it, regaining your Omega Beam. Use it to destroy the E.M.M.I. and proceed.
