The SA-X is a perfect mimic of Samus in her fully powered Power Suit form, created by an X-Parasite that absorbed a piece of her infected suit. It is invulnerable to your attacks and represents a constant, terrifying threat throughout the game. Encountering the SA-X usually means you must flee or hide. Its presence dictates many of Samus's movements and adds immense tension to the exploration. Avoid direct confrontation at all costs.
