Main Deck

Welcome back to the Main Deck, Samus! After your harrowing escape from Sector 1 (SRX) and the acquisition of the Diffusion Missile, the path forward becomes clearer. The Main Deck serves as your central hub, connecting to all other sectors. Your immediate goal is to reach the Operations Room for your next objective from the computer.

From Sector 1 (SRX) to Operations Room

  1. Exit Sector 1: From the Navigation Room in Sector 1 (SRX), head left and take the elevator back up to the Main Deck.
  2. Navigate the Main Deck Corridor: You'll emerge in a familiar corridor. Continue moving left, past the initial save station you encountered at the beginning of the game.
  3. Reach the Operations Room: The Operations Room is located at the far left end of this corridor. Enter it and interact with the computer to receive your next mission briefing. The computer will instruct you to head to Sector 2 (TRO) to investigate a power outage.

Optional Exploration and Item Collection

Before proceeding to Sector 2, now is an excellent time to collect some valuable upgrades that were previously inaccessible. Your new Diffusion Missile ability opens up several new paths.

Energy Tank Acquisition (Main Deck)

There's an easily missed Energy Tank on the Main Deck that you can now obtain. This will significantly boost your maximum health, which is crucial for upcoming challenges.

  • Location: From the Operations Room, head right. You'll pass the elevator leading down to Sector 1. Continue right until you reach a large, open shaft with several platforms.
  • Strategy: Look for a section of the wall on the right side of this shaft that appears slightly different or cracked. Use your Diffusion Missiles on this section. The blast radius will destroy the weak blocks, revealing a hidden passage.
  • Collection: Enter the newly opened passage to find the Energy Tank.

Missile Tank Acquisition (Main Deck)

Another crucial upgrade, a Missile Tank, can also be found on the Main Deck, further increasing your missile capacity.

  • Location: From the room where you found the Energy Tank, head back into the main shaft. Descend to the very bottom of this shaft.
  • Strategy: At the bottom, look for a small alcove or passage on the left side. There will be a weak block or a series of blocks that can be destroyed. Use your Diffusion Missiles or regular missiles to clear the path.
  • Collection: Proceed through the cleared path to find the Missile Tank.

Proceeding to Sector 2 (TRO)

Once you've collected these upgrades (or if you choose to skip them for now), your next destination is Sector 2 (TRO).

  1. Return to the Main Deck Corridor: From your current position, make your way back towards the Operations Room.
  2. Locate the Sector 2 Elevator: The elevator to Sector 2 (TRO) is located to the right of the Operations Room, past the first save station you encountered. It's clearly marked on your map.
  3. Descend to Sector 2: Enter the elevator and activate it to travel down to Sector 2 (TRO).

Be prepared, as Sector 2 presents new environmental hazards and enemies. The power outage means you'll be navigating in the dark for a significant portion of your visit there.
