This is the final major area before the Queen. The environment is dark, organic, and teeming with the most dangerous Metroid forms: the Omega Metroids. The air is thick with a sense of dread, and the path forward is often guarded by multiple powerful enemies.
The Metroid Nest is a labyrinthine area, often requiring you to backtrack and use all your acquired abilities to navigate. The Omega Metroids are the penultimate challenge before the Queen, so be fully prepared with maximum energy and missiles.
