Phases & Attacks:

  • Phase 1: Ground Attacks: Arachnus will primarily charge at Samus, attempt to stomp, and occasionally spit webbing.
  • Phase 2: Wall Climbing: After taking some damage, Arachnus will climb walls, spitting projectiles and occasionally dropping down for a ground pound.

Strategy:

  1. Dodge and Counter: Use SenseMove to evade Arachnus's charges and stomps. After a successful SenseMove, immediately counter with a Charge Beam or Missile.
  2. Target Weak Point: Arachnus's head is its primary weak point. Aim your Missiles here for maximum damage.
  3. Morph Ball Bombs: When Arachnus is stunned or on the ground, you can sometimes roll into Morph Ball form and deploy Bombs near its underside for extra damage.
  4. Wall Climbing: When it climbs the walls, switch to First-Person View to aim Missiles at its head. Be mindful of its projectile attacks.
  5. Overblast Opportunity: If you successfully SenseMove a close-range attack, you might get an Overblast prompt. This deals significant damage.

Keep your distance when possible, prioritize dodging, and unleash Missiles on its head whenever you have an opening. This fight emphasizes patience and precise aiming.
