Advanced Combat Techniques
  • Perfect SenseMove: Timing your SenseMove just before an enemy attack lands grants a brief moment of invincibility and often creates an opening for a counter-attack. Practice this against various enemy types.
  • Overblast/Lethal Strike Timing: After a successful SenseMove, quickly shake the Wii Remote while holding '1' to perform an Overblast. For larger, stunned enemies, a 'Lethal Strike' prompt might appear, dealing massive damage.
  • Concentration (Emergency Recharge): When Samus's health or missiles are critically low, find a safe spot, stand still, and hold the 'A' button. She will slowly regenerate a small amount of health and missiles. This is a lifesaver in boss fights.
  • Beam Switching: Once you have multiple beam types authorized (e.g., Plasma, Ice), you can quickly switch between them in first-person view by pressing the '1' button. Use the appropriate beam for enemy weaknesses.
  • Morph Ball Bomb Jumps: In Morph Ball form, dropping a bomb and then immediately jumping can propel Samus higher, reaching otherwise inaccessible ledges.

Don't just button-mash. Observe enemy patterns, time your dodges, and unleash powerful counters. The combat system rewards skillful play.
