Bryyo
- Bryyo Cliffside - Bomb Slot Activation
- Location: After defeating the first Mogenar, you'll gain access to the Bryyo Cliffside. Proceed through the area until you reach a large chamber with a series of platforms and a visible Morph Ball track.
- Strategy: Look for a bomb slot on a wall near the bottom of this chamber. Transform into Morph Ball form and roll into the slot. Deploy a bomb to activate a mechanism, which will lower a platform or open a new path, leading directly to your first Morph Ball Bomb expansion.

- Bryyo Fire - Geothermal Core Access
- Location: Within the fiery depths of Bryyo Fire, specifically in the Geothermal Core area. You'll need to have progressed sufficiently to handle the intense heat.
- Strategy: Navigate through the molten caverns until you find a section with a series of interconnected Morph Ball tunnels. One of these tunnels will be blocked by a crumbling rock formation. Deploy a Morph Ball Bomb to clear the path. Beyond this obstruction, you'll find a hidden alcove containing the upgrade.

Elysia
- SkyTown - Maintenance Shaft Gamma
- Location: In the sprawling SkyTown, specifically within the intricate network of Maintenance Shafts. This particular shaft is located near the eastern side of the main SkyTown hub.
- Strategy: Access Maintenance Shaft Gamma. You'll encounter a series of rotating gears and moving platforms. Look for a small, elevated platform with a visible crack in the floor. Transform into Morph Ball form and roll onto this cracked section. Deploy a Morph Ball Bomb to break through the floor, revealing a hidden passage that leads to the upgrade.

- SkyTown - Research Facility A - Hidden Vent
- Location: Within Research Facility A, a section of SkyTown filled with scientific equipment and automated defenses.
- Strategy: After navigating through the main research labs, you'll reach a large room with several ventilation shafts. One of these shafts, located high on a wall, will have a weak point indicated by a faint glow or visual distortion. Use your Scan Visor to confirm. Launch yourself into Morph Ball form and use the Morph Ball Launcher to reach the vent. Deploy a Morph Ball Bomb to destroy the weak point, allowing access to a small crawlspace containing the upgrade.

Valhalla
- Valhalla - Cargo Bay 3 - Debris Clearing
- Location: Aboard the derelict G.F.S. Valhalla, specifically within Cargo Bay 3. This area is heavily damaged and filled with debris.
- Strategy: Upon entering Cargo Bay 3, you'll notice a large pile of wreckage blocking a narrow passage. Transform into Morph Ball form and maneuver yourself close to the debris. Deploy multiple Morph Ball Bombs to systematically clear the obstruction. Once enough debris is removed, you'll be able to roll through the newly opened path to claim the upgrade.
