- Charge Beam Combos: After acquiring the Plasma and Nova Beams, charging your shot will combine their properties. For example, a charged Plasma Beam shot will deal fire damage and have a wider area of effect. Experiment with these to find the most effective combo for different enemy types.
- Hypermode Management: As discussed, Hypermode is powerful but risky. Learn to activate it for burst damage against tough enemies or bosses, then deactivate it (by pressing Z again) before your Phazon corruption meter fills completely. This allows you to use it multiple times in a single encounter without succumbing to Phazon.
